Hello user of the internet!  This is Reed, the owner of BookBrook.  This website is a book-review site which is, as our motto says, “By readers, for readers.”  We personally guarantee that every review written on this website will be personally read by the reviewer, and not just a synopsis of other reviews and summaries people have written.  That said, please excuse the slow addition of reviews to the site, as reading takes time.  As somebody or other once said:  “Good things come to those who wait.”   This blog will provide two systems of rating: Enjoyability/Awesomeness, and Recommended Age Range.  We have  different genres here:  Fantasy, Adventure, Action, Mystery, Thriller, Sci-Fi, Romance, Historical Fiction, and Nonfiction.  Obviously, these genres will be given in bold so you can tell what’s what.  There is also a set rating system of 1 to 10 (1 being none, 10 being lots) in the following categories for Enjoyability/Awesomeness: Action, Suspense, Boredom, Romance, Magic, and Thrills (Disclaimer: “Magic” can also mean mysterious and unnatural events); and these categories for Recommended Age Range:  Violence/Fear, Mature Content, Language, Alcohol/Drugs, and Advertising, as well as Positive Messages and Role Models.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE:  BookBrook is not associated with any publishing companies, and all reviews are completely unbiased and unaffected by outside businesses.
